Acerca de nuestra casa

Our home is a typical Sydney residence. It is comfortably furnished, with split system airconditioning. It has a large private courtyard, perfect for bar-b-ques and entertaining. The neighbourhood is friendly, leafy and quiet, with lots of friendly native birds (Kookaburras, Rosellas, Lorikeets, etc).

Más sobre nosotros

  1. Joan and Paul are recently retired; our children are grown up and have left home. We participated in three home exchanges last year, in France and Ireland with our best friends Lyn and Jed, who are also members of this web site. After tasting the life of travelling overseas, we see and appreciate the benefits of swapping homes, thus allowing someone else to enjoy our hometown of Sydney. When we are not travelling overseas, we enjoy touring around Australia in our caravan.

This is a riverside, bushland suburb, which is 15 minutes from one of Sydney's most famous beaches, Cronulla. The world's first National Park, the Royal National Park is 10 minutes away, and is perfect for bushwalking and picnicking. We are close to the train, which is only a 30 minute ride to the centre of Sydney, the Opera House, Sydney Harbour and its Bridge. The same train is a direct ride to Australia's famous Bondi Beach. Sydney is a great jumping off point for the Blue Mountains, Scenic South Coast, Hunter Valley (one of the most important wine growing areas) as well as being a plane ride from the Outback and Great Barrier Reef.
