Más sobre nosotros

  1. We are Morgan and Bronwyn, a married couple for 9 years. We have two beautiful children Mackenzie (5)and Byron (3). Bronwyn is a Maths teacher and I am a forensic investigator with the Queensland Police. We have lived in Hervey Bay for about 7 years and love it here. Hervey Bay has been recently featured on 60 minutes as having the happiest people in Australia.

We would love to travel to Tasmania during the September 2007 School Holidays for our 10 year wedding anniversary with the kids.

We live in a quiet suburb and know most of our neighbours. We spend much of our time on our Verandah which catches a beautiful breeze on most days.

Our beach is tidal and is not suitable for surfing. It is fantastic for children as there are many soldier crabs, small fish and other wonderful creatures to play with when the tide is out. When the tide is high, it is about knee to waist deep for about 300 metres and the waves are very small.

Hervey Bay is the gateway to Heritage listed Fraser Island, the largest sand island in the world. Fraser is home to fishing, 4 wheel driving on the beach, bushwalking, beautiful pristine lakes, native animals including dingos and a wide array of birdlife. Are many tours available ranging from an afternoon at Kingfisher Bay resort to weekly guided ranger tours.

During the months between July through to October you can book a whale watching tour. Hervey Bay is regarded as one of the best whale watching places in the world.

The weather is warm most of the year. We open the windows on most days. There are approximately 2 weeks where you need the airconditioning and 2 weeks in August where you need the heater at night.
