Acerca de nuestra casa

Ours is a comfortable 2 storey Federation home with 4 bedrooms one of which has been converted to an office as I work from home. Located on prestigious Eastern Hill. Easy walk to restaurants,the surf or harbour pool. There is a rear deck with bbq overlooking the pool. One of the bedrooms has an ensuite and the third is connected to the main bathroom with spa bath. There are televisions in each of the bedrooms. There is a piano, wet bar and home theatre with cable television. The kitchen has every appliance and is well-stocked. The refrigerator delivers cold water and ice.There is a large library of books. The house is welcoming and tastefully furnished with antiques. Our vehicle can be made available and a couple of bicycles.There is no telephone landline as the family uses mobiles.

David and I are both semi-retired criminal barristers. We have 3 adult children and a grandson.
Both passionate about travelling, antique stores and both like to shop.We love dining out with a nice glass of wine or going to the movies.I like the theatre and live music. David is an avid reader and enjoys golf. I have just taken up tennis and piano.I also enjoy photography and art. We often travel to our second home 90 minutes north of Sydney where we regularly entertain. We have done successful swaps to Thailand, Canada (West Coast), Spain, Italy, England and Tunisia. We are non-smokers.We also have shares in a ski lodge at Jindabyne (Snowy Mountains) and enjoy skiing. No pets for you to look after. Happy to entertain homestay if you just want a couple of days passing through when touring Australia.

Manly Beach is a world tourist destination. Nicole Kidman chose to be married a block from our home. Siuated on a peninsula it offers both the harbour and the beach. A short ferry trip across Sydney harbour takes you to the city dropping you at the doorstep of the Opera House. There are picture perfect seaside walks or coastal drives. Manly Beach centre is within walking distance and so is Little Manly harbour pool. There are many exquisite restaurants, clubs and hotels. The Manly 16' Skiff Club is close by where you can enjoy a drink on the deck over the water while you watch the sun set. Manly Dam, a hidden secret to some locals, offers congenial picnic spots and a lovely bush walk. We have a second home 90 minutes north of Sydney at Killcare which can be included in the swap. Only 30 minutes to Sydney's Opera House, Harbour Bridge and Contemporary Art Gallery.
