Comfortable family holiday home on 4 hectares of forest and farmland, at Merricks North on the lovely Mornington Peninsula just outside Melbourne. Four bedrooms with two double beds, as well as bunk beds for children. Well- equipped, simple kitchen and two bathrooms, log fire in the sitting room, (rough) gravel tennis court and plenty of room for children and dogs to run around.
Barbecue and picnic outside, lie back in a deckchair, listen to the birds, drink a glass of local wine and watch the sun set on the valley.
We are Agnes and Richard Tulloch, a Dutch social worker and Australian children's author. We're both in our fifties, with 2 adult children. We travel a lot, and have home bases in both Amsterdam and Sydney.
We're experienced exchangers, and we know how to get a place spotlessly clean before we leave!
Because the Merricks North house is a holiday home, it is available most of the year, and non-simultaneous exchange is nearly always possible.
The only time it is not available is during January, which is school holiday time in Australia.
We also have an apartment in Amsterdam, Netherlands available for exchange April-July 2008 - ID 12857.
The Mornington Peninsula is one of the most varied and beautiful areas of Australia. Merricks North is an hour's drive from Melbourne and an hour and a half from Melbourne Airport.
Surrounded by uncrowded beaches (Merricks Beach 10 minutes away), the area boasts some of Australia's best wineries, terrific golf courses, horse-riding and children's activities, and lovely walks in bushland and along the coast.

Lots of wildlife - birds, possums and even koalas and echidnas are sometimes seen on our property.
Nearby Balnarring Village has a good range of shops, cafes, supermarket and many local wineries have excellent restaurants.
