Más sobre nosotros

  1. Gaëtan and I (Danielle) are a very recently retired couple in our early fifties. We have been married (to one another J) for over thirty years and still get a rush out of going through life together day by day. We have three adult children, all living on their own and no grandchildren in sight yet. We just recently moved out of down-town Montreal (only 45 minutes away!) into our new house in the Laurentians where we very much enjoy the peace and beauty of our new environment. We chose the house with the specific intent of making exchanges in order to continue travelling: our common passion.
Gaëtan holds a Masters degree in Political Sciences but spent the last ten years of his professional life in the music industry as head of his own record label, management and production company. He worked essentially in the ‘chanson française’ and ‘world music’ areas, and developed a cross-continental expertise covering all aspects of the industry throughout the francophone countries of France, Belgium, Switzerland and Québec with a few dabs into some of the francophone African countries as well. His work allowed him to travel extensively in Europe and Québec.

I have a degree in French litterature and languages and spent several years teaching and doing translation work before switching to an administrative career in the private sector. I enjoy international cuisine, reading, writing and the company of good friends. Being a military kid, I criss-crossed the Americas and Europe.
