Acerca de nuestra casa

Our home is a clean well loved and lived in. Our decor is stuck somewhere between contemporary modern and eclectic. It's a typical 2 income century home with a dog and 1 cat(the dog would go visit 'Grandma' if we do an exchange). We love the odd crack in our walls along with the other original fixings such as high base boards, original wooden floor and other hidden charms waiting to be discovered. We have two full bedrooms and a semi-finished full attic with room to sleep 2 more! A newly renovated upstairs bathroom with claw foot tub, a brand new kitchen and all 18 windows were just replaced! We're slowing renovating and updating but our need to travel keeps getting in the way!!! Please send us an email!!!! In the meantime, if you have any questions about our home or the area, please send us an email! We look forward to hearing from you!!!

Más sobre nosotros

  1. We're Stacey and Carol. We've been together for about 20 years. Carol works for an international Food and Beverage company as a computer systems analyst and I live off the rewards of a family owned business. We both love to travel and hope that homeforexchange will give us a better opportunity to see the world. We have about 5 weeks a year to play with and both prefer to do our traveling in the fall (but it's not cast in stone!). We have a dog and 1 cat but would certainly make arrangements for them when you came to stay at the house. My Mom lives about 10 minutes away and our nieces live next door so if you were to need any help or had any questions, they'd be more than happy to lend a hand. We're proud Harry Potter fans!!! We also love scrap booking, watching movies, shopping, live theatre, history, museums, art, reading... We're both really excited to try a house exchange, but like many, quite nervous as well. Please feel free to simply send us an email to find out more or to just chat a bit! We love meeting new people and exploring different cultures!

We're situated in a great spot! We’re only 2 blocks away from Little Lake, our city marina which links the entire Trent Severn Waterway - a National Historic site. It's easiest to have a look at all Peterborough has to offer at (www.city.peterborough.on.ca) but I'll rattle off a few more great web sites to check out to get a better idea of what there is to do in and around Peterborough. Enjoy exploring!!!
(www.festivaloflights.ca) free top rate concerts and fireworks every Wednesday and Saturday at Del Crary Park 2 blocks down the street. At the Morrow Building 1 block away we have a great farmers market every weekend all year round. We also have a free local animal zoo (www.puc.org/files/zoo/zoo.html) as well as a reptile zoo (www.reptilezoo.com), a historic pioneer village (www.langpioneervillage.ca), hikers would love either the Warsaw Caves (www.warsawcaves.com) or the Petroglyphs (www.ontarioparks.com/English/petr.html)or spending some time on part of the Trans Canada Trail (www.tctrail.ca). We're also a 10 minute drive from Gambling at (www.kawarthadowns.com) and just under 2 hours drive to downtown Toronto (www.toronto.ca), 4 hours from our nations capital Ottawa (www.ottawa.ca), 3 hours from Niagara Falls (www.city.niagarafalls.on.ca)and we're also about 6 hours from downtown Montreal Quebec (www.tourisme-montreal.org). There is so much to do in and around Peterborough, so please feel free to email us and we can give you tons more information.
