Acerca de nuestra casa

My home is a very bright penthouse apartment in a partially protected property. The apartment consists of 2 divisions: 2 interconnected living rooms of which there is open kitchen in one. Possibility of separate access to both rooms. The second department has rooms for a entre where there is access to a smaller bedroom and a bathroom with a shower, a bath and a washing machine. I have previously used airbnb and guests have described the apartment as cosy, simple and beautiful.
Entering the building is by a entry phone.
Parking is on my private parking which is by the harbour 600m from my home. There will be a bike to use between home and parking.

My home is located in the center of Denmark's second largest city named Aarhus. Close to Aarhus Theater and Denmark's largest cathedral. Close by is also Aarhus Å (canal) with the many cafes and restaurants. The property is located in Fiskergade which is parallel to Åen (canal). FIskergade is in the second row from the canal but still you must expect some noise from the streets.
Behind the cathedral is the old Latin Quarter with cafes, small squares and fashion, art and specialty stores. The harbor is also close and houses a large very modern library (DOKK1) overlooking the harbor area. There are 2 marina yachts which are nice to visit and with good restaurants.
Beach and forest are close by. Here is an outdoor sea waterpark with lifeguard open all summer during the daytime. Other beautiful sandy beaches 10-15 minutes drive from the center.
Attractions are: Moesgaard (newly opened archaeologically/ethnographic museum, which has won a major recognition of the exhibition, but also the architecture and the surroundings worth visiting - The Old Town Museum Museum - Botanical Garden with Greenhouses - Aros, a large modern European renowned art museum.
Aarhus has been appointed as the European Capital of Culture throughout 2017, (Aarhus2017. dk) here you can find a detailed program and download an app. Really a lot of small and big events are going on in Aarhus this year.
Vicit Copenhagen is easy; by car you can take the ferry (Molslinien) from Aarhus to Odden and from there you drive 100km to Cph. it takes in al 3 hours. Train or busses takes 3 1/2 hours. The cheapest way is by bus or by the popular (cheer a lift).
