Acerca de nuestra casa

We have moved in November 2016 to a newly built penthouse apartment in the old building situated in the charming part of the Copenhagen (Frederiksberg). No elevator in the building.
We participated in the design of the apartment, which has two levels and 4 bedrooms (one with bed 180x200 cm, two with beds 140x200 cm and one with single bed 90x200 cm), large living room with 72" TV, a big kitchen with a possibility to open the window wall, two bathrooms with showers, a walk-in closet and a wonderful private roof terrace with the view over Copenhagen.
The apartment is full of light, also on a rainy day, and we love the view over the city. Everything inside the apartment is new: kitchen, washing and drying machines, bathrooms, etc.
We have Audi A4 with a parking garage in the neighbor building for exchange during simultaneous periods and at least 5 bicycles. We are open for non-simultaneous exchange as well.

We have also a smaller house in Montenegro (70 sq.m, 3 bedrooms, sleeps: 6, very big terrace) on the shore of the Adriatic sea with wonderful view (pictures are attached).

Más sobre nosotros

  1. My name is Anastassia Bang, I am an Senior Advisor working in the field of spacecraft navigation at Danish Technical University, and my husband Jesper is a semi-retired lawyer. We have three sons: Nikolaj (born 1998), Michael (born 2000) and Alexander (born 2002). We love to travel and to experience new places and cultures together. In our free time we enjoy playing bridge, listening to classical music, collecting wines, making good food and bicycling in nature. We have tried home exchange for more than 6 years now, and we see it as a exciting possibility to experience another country not only like tourists, but also have an opportunity to meet new interesting people.

Ubicación

Barrio/zona

Our house is in a walking distance from the metro station (direct line to airport and the center of Copenhagen) and a 10 minutes bike trip from the old town. Our neighborhood is quiet though with a lot of restaurants, cafes, pubs and green areas. We have a unique combination of being close to the city live and having an undisturbed time on our terrace.

Denmark is a small country, but there are many things to see – Copenhagen is a very old city from 11th century with numerous beautiful old castles, cathedrals, parks and historical buildings. We still have the Royal family, which is very popular among the Danes and which lives in the centre of the city and can be seen from time to time. Denmark is famous for H.C.Andersen’s fairy tales and Little Mermaid; Castle of Prince Hamlet; impressive Opera house; Legoland; oldest amusement park in Europe, Tivoli, in the middle of Copenhagen; many museums; Carlsberg beer; very good food; many beaches (though with quite cold sea water – about 20-22 C during summer) and very friendly people who all speak English.
Being a small country we are very close to our neighbors – one hour drive to Malmø in Sweden, about 4 hours drive to Germany, one night comfortable ferry trip to Oslo in Norway. Copenhagen has a large international airport with many cheap flight possibilities to other European countries.
