Acerca de nuestra casa

The building is from 2007 and the apartment is therefore spacious and bright and offers 3 large bedrooms, 1 big living room, 1 bathrooms and 2 large balconies (one facing the morning sun and one facing the afternoon sun (garden/harbour view). The living room area combines with a large open kitchen. The large balcony faces a nice sunny garden.

There are two double beds and one child bead. We have one mattress to put in the playroom where the child bead is also located.

The apartment is located very close to the harbor and the harbor park. On the other side we have Amager Fælled which is Nature Reserve. On bike we are 5 minutes from the City Center (15 minutes by foot) and 3-5 minutes from the Metro which can take you to the city center or to the airport. 1 minute away we have the harbor buss taking you to the city center in 10-15 minutes through our beautiful harbor.

We have lots of nice restaurants and supermarkets including Copenhagen Mall just on the other side of "Bryggebroen" (see description below).

Más sobre nosotros

  1. We are a family of 3, my husband and I (both 35 years) and our Son William (3 years). We also have a dog - English Springer Spaniel called Frodo. Jesper is a police officer and Camilla is a senior consultant working with patents.

We love to travel - both on short city breaks but also on longer trips where nature experiences has been our primary focus. We love to run, hike and walk - but we also love great food and new cultures. We are openminded and respect the property of others.

Our dog is well behaved - he never barks, do into the furniture etc. We do have a possibility of a "dog" sitter and it is therefore no request that he can bring him to you home (if located "car" distance from Copenhagen), even though we do prefer it as he is part of the family..:o) He has been with us on city breaks in Berlin, hiking in Geilo and Chamonix without any notice from the owners of the apartments we rented.

Islands Brygge is a very central neighborhood often referred to as the Manhattan of Copenhagen. It has many restaurants and cafes of its own but for more choices the city center is 10 minutes away.

Islands Brygge is today a fashionable mainly residential neighbourhood, stretching from Langebro in the north to "Bryggebroen" (a walk/cycle bridge connecting Islands Brygge with Vesterbro) in the south. The northern part of the area, from Langebro to Sturlasgade, is dominated by early 20th-century residential blocks with small shops at street level.

The area from Sturlasgade to "Bryggebroen", also known as Havnestaden, used to be an industrial site processing soy beans for animal feed, but is after redevelopment dominated by new office and residential buildings. Some structures from the area's industrial and dockland past have been preserved and converted to other uses. These include Gemini Residence, the Wennberg Silo and the Zepeline Building.

Havneparken (English: The Harbour Park), located directly on the waterfront, is the main recreational area of the neighbourhood and one of the most lively and popular places along the Copenhagen harbourfront. It has retained several features from the area's industrial past, including old railway tracks and an old railway car, while an old ship hull turned upside-down serves as a pavilion. The park is also the location of the Islands Brygge Cultural House and the Islands Brygge Harbour Bath. Right on the other side of "Bryggebroen" there is another Harbour Bath.
