A television room with cable tv, kitchen and dinning room with fireplace and direct acces to the patio where you can enjoy the sun most of the day or barbecue in the evening. We have a very nice big garden with a big lawn, lots of trees, swing, playhouse and a big trampolin. On 1 floor We have 3 bedrooms, one has a double bed and one have 1½ bed and one bedrooms has a single bed. (can expand to two). This is also where the master bathroom with bathtub and shower.

Más sobre nosotros

  1. We are Christina and Jesper, a married couple with three children, age 20, 18 and 12. Jesper is a police officer and Christina is Head of a Global sales department in a assistance company. We enjoy travelling when able to get away. We have done two home exchange in the summer of 2009 and one in 2011, it was a great experience, and we are keen to do it again. We think its a great way to see another country as a resident - and allow someone to see ours.

Welcome to Copenhagen; Paris of Scandinavia.

Our house is located 5 Km from the centre of Copenhagen. And 1,5 km from the lovely new beach, Amager Riviera, witch offers several kinds of water sports. Also the new aquarium, The Blue Planet (Den Blå Planet) only 5 minutes away. The aquarium is the largest in Northern Europe and have all kinds of exotic creatures, such as Hammerheads and Anacondas.
On the West side of Amager there is a large protected area with both woods and open land for both running, biking or lesser, and a number of Geo-caching sites.

The house is close to both busses and a train stations and the metro. It takes 10 minutes to reach the centre by public transportation. We live close to Tivoli, the Zoo and the bridge to Sweden. A 20 minute drive will bring you abroad.

Copenhagen is a city of 800 years, but also a vibrant one with many places to go. We have more than 70 museums, restaurants of all sorts, famous sights like The Little Mermaid, Tivoli, The Royal Residence, Amalienborg, and Christiania, and in the heart of the city you can find 2 km of shopping street, the longest in Northern Europe. Copenhagen also has a fascinating history with many wars and battles, great kings and their mistresses. Just 40 minutes north of Copenhagen, you can find Kronborg; home of Hamlet. The Danish Monarchy goes back more than a 1000 years, beginning with Gorm The Old. The old fishing village Dragør is a beautiful place to visit on the south of our island Amager.

From our house all you need is in walking distance. Supermarkeds, a bakery, cafés, restaurants and fast food joints, all about 300 m. away, the beach 1,2 km., the pharmacy , the cinema and in case of a rainy day there are indoor swimming facilities close by
