Acerca de nuestra casa

The apartment is located in a villa built in the 1930s. This part of Brittany is referred to as the Emerald Coast because of the incredible green color of the sea. Jacques Cousteau was passionate about this part of the world. This is the home of the world’s second largest tide – the biggest is in the Bay of Fundy Canada. At low tide the oyster and mussel farmers get their amphibious tractors out to harvest and at high tide the fishing boats go out each and every day of the year. There are beautiful coastal walks with lovely coves for picnics. The large sandy beaches are perfect for kids. The walled port city of St. Malo is located just 10 km or 6 miles away. Ubicación

Barrio/zona

The villa is located at the end of a small road that is in the heart of Cancale. The town square is a few hundred yards/meters away. You’ll find a grocery store, several ATM machines, 2 fishmarkets, a bakery and a pharmacy on the town square. The historical towns of St. Malo and Dinan are easily accessible. The Mount St. Michel is a 45 minute drive away on the coastal road. On clear days you can see this 8th century monastery from our balcony.
