Acerca de nuestra casa

Our flat has two bedrooms with a single bed in each (which can be useful if one of you is an arch snorer like myself).
There is also a living room with a sofa where up to three people can sleep comfortably. Like my ageing step mother when she visits us.
From the living room, you will have a nice view on Napoleon Bonaparte crossing the Great Saint Bernard pass, and also on a small park from the terrace, where you can sip limoncello in the summer.
The bathroom comes with a proper bath, nice in the winter.

Más sobre nosotros

  1. As a railway infrastructure manager, I am a very boring person. I can speak for hours about railway tarification or timetables. Never ever start me on that topic...
Marie, on the other hand, is an active agent of globalisation. She spends her life destroying French culture by introducing anglosaxon junk into French readers' homes who are too lazy to read the stuff in English. This, I understand, is called translating.
We have no children, and our only pet is Georg, a nice little fluffy green dragon, which will not stink too much in your home as he is made in China.

Maisons Laffitte is the city of the horse. If you enjoy riding, there is a large forest nearby, where you can rent a horse, or walk of course if you are a mere pedestrian. Or you might cycle, either in the forest, or along the Seine river which is a few minutes away too.
Should you really want to avoid the forest and the river, then you can jump into the suburban train (5 minutes away, 10 minutes intervals), and in 20 minutes you're in Paris on the Champs Elysées, where you can avoid rural life.
There are also in Maisons Laffitte itself many restaurants, bars, a cinema, and a racing track. You will be able to bet all your possessions away, no trouble.
