Acerca de nuestra casa

Our home is a cosy, comfortable family home. The flat is in a semi-detached house, on the floor, but we have separated garden with terrace. The house is in the 16. district, in a nice, quite, youngish area, with a lot of new apartment houses, and families with children. We have 3 bedrooms, 1 of them is a childrens room for two children. The other two bedrooms are comfortable for 2-2 adults. The flat is OK for young families and for couples as well.

Más sobre nosotros

  1. We are Marta and Istvan, we have two children: Adam 4, Daniel 2 years old. It depends on destination and term that we would like to travel with or without children. Istvan is marketing manager, Marta drives an advertising agency. We have not done a home exchange before but are keen to try what sounds a great way to see another country as a resident.

Budapest is truly one of the world's most attractive cities, rich in both natural and architectural beauty. It is no wonder that the Castle District, the River Danube embankments and the whole of Andrássy út have been officially recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Budapest is richly endowed with natural springs of thermal waters possessing various medicinal properties, and it is these that supply the city's many thermal baths. Not for nothing is it known as the City of Spas. The Buda castle is one of the most famous and most visited sights of Budapest, It is a Unesco World Heritage location, offering many interesting attractions, museums, evocative streets, squares, restaurants and shops. The phrase "cultural avenue" was devised by Budapest-loving culture and tourism experts around 2000. They were trying to adapt the popular term Museum Mile of some American cities into Hungarian. They figured that a similar institution exists in Budapest, and it can be explored on foot or using the excellent public transport, although it is not situated along one single road and has a large river in between. A significant share of Budapest's invariably righ culture is lying along this axis. In fact, nearly half of it lies along the straight Andrássy út, which was built by the Founding Fathers of Budapest in order to create a representative riding and cart-driving route between the city centre, and City park.
