  1. Seamus and Joan both lecture at University College Cork. We have three children Maebh (girl) who is 17 and twins who are 14 Danu (girl) and Naoise (boy). We like spending time in the outdoors, forest walks, beach and countryside. Joan and Maebh are big readers, Seamus likes to write, Danu is our singer and sports star, Maebh and Naoise the artists and Joan dessert and cake maker par excelence. We love to cook, entertain and have friends over. The children love art. Seamus is interested in sport especially road bowling and hurling (both traditional games of Ireland) and writes a weekly column for the Irish Examiner. We have busy work lives so we like to spend long holidays as a family. We have a large extended family and friends locally and in far flung places.
