Acerca de nuestra casa
Stylish modern house designed by a well-known architect. Situated in Pedrulho, Alenquer area (10 minutes from Alenquer by car). In portuguese typical countryside, in a green valley with wind mills.
The fruit trees are downhill slope, the house in a plain area. Views to the lights of Alenquer, at distance, called the crib village. Views to Montejunto mountain and rural areas and a few houses in the valley.
35 minutes distance from Lisbon by car. The region of Alenquer is known by the wines.
It is a property with around 7000 square meters and a lot of fruit trees and other beautiful trees.
If you like silence and contact with nature it's a great spot. You hear the clock of a distant church, some chickens from neighbour houses and a lot of birds. Wind is frequent even during summer but the climate is usually nice for swim.
All the four bedrooms have double size beds. Two of the four bedrooms are suites. Three of the beds are close to the floor, the matresses are in slatted platforms, in a japanese style. The main bedroom has a extra large matress.

We are a married couple - Nuno and Joana, both 51 years old and our three children. Nuno is engineer and Joana is psychologist.
Inês is twenty four and she studys in Sweden. Catarina is twenty three and she studies Economics. João is sixteen.
We have made ten home exchanges - Tarragona, Quimper, Marseille, Brighton, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Dublin, French Alpes, Doenrade (The Netherlands) and Pécs (Hungary ). The last three exchanges with the Lisbon flat, the previous exchanges with a villa not available anymore.
Since 2020 we will be open to exchanges with Alenquer farm. -
We are an easy-going family, we love to travel, sports and contact with nature. We love places full of history.
In the summer hollidays we usually travel together or just four of us travel. In the summer Ines or Catarina may travel with their boyfriends during a week of the time exchange. So we may travel four, five or six. -
We really love to live in Lisbon and feel happy to share that with you. Alenquer is a good choice if you like nature and silence.
We expect you feel at home and take care of our house as your own. We will take care of yours the same way.
We have a very calm cat, Nokinhas, who could stay in the house with you if you agree or stay with other persons. We also have another cat, Alex, but as he is very active he will stay with our family.
