The Conwy Marina is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. The views of the water and the mountains are breathtaking. The marina has a small market that is within a 5 minute walk where you can purchase any essentials and a wonderful restaurant and bar that overlooks the marina. Stephen & Anne were superb hosts, very easy to contact and had a ton of information about the area and recommendations of what to see and where to eat that they provided before our trip. Conwy itself is a great little town. The castle is like nothing we had ever seen before. We walked from the unit into Conwy (about 15 minutes) along the river (very scenic) and you turn a corner and there overlooking the water is this ENORMOUS castle. Exploring the castle and walking the town walls were a memory that will stay with us.

The unit itself was well supplied with everything we needed. The location is a great place to see much of what Wales has to offer. There is a nice outdoor garden area in the back that has a table and chairs. We snacked on some of the blackberries that were growing there. There were also some fresh potted herbs we could use for cooking. We just marveled at the beauty of Northern Wales - by far our favorite in our travels in the UK. Bus & trains were easily accessible from Conwy and Castle Cabs was a very affordable and reliable means to get us to the train when we were loaded down with luggage. Thanks Stephen & Anne for a wonderful stay. Nola & Mark, Florida Sep 2016

Anne and Steve was the perfect exchange partner. They looked after our place beautifully. Their holiday place in Cowny was warm and cosy. We had the perfect 2 weeks, exploring Wales. Conwy is picture perfect place. The old walls castle surrounds the village of Conwy and was so beautiful that we couldnt wait to explore and take pretty photos to show our kids. Anne and Steve holiday home was the perfect base to explore Wales and in a great location, on the marina with board walk to a small shops and pub. The perfect place/setting. Thank you Steve and Anne.
