Acerca de nuestra casa

Spacious Edwardian apartment above a shop in one of London's prettiest village centres - Kew Gardens. The Underground station is 2 minutes away and the famous Kew Gardens is only 5 minutes away (if that!).

The rooms are all a good size with high ceilings. It is light and airy. There is a mixture of modern and antique furniture, three bedrooms, two doubles and one single/twin. Plus a study/office. We have wire-less broadband.

Más sobre nosotros

  1. Sarah and Andy are both graphic designers, we have two girls aged 14 and 15. We have never done a house-swap before but we usually have a house-sitter when we go away as we have a cat. The cat will stay here but we have someone that can take care of it if you want to use our home just as a base. We are looking to do a house-swap during the summer holidays for 1 or 2 weeks this summer.

In Kew Village - literally on our door-step - there are a number of good food shops, restaurants (including the sister-restaurant to Chez Bruce, voted the best London Restaurant many times), gift shops, a bank and a small market stall.

There are pretty river walks along the Thames and through Kew Green. Richmond is one stop on the Underground and has good shops, a lively river-side with bars, restaurants and boat-hire.

It takes about half an hour to get to the centre of London on the Underground and trains run very frequently (District Line).

Kew Gardens is the greatest of all public gardens in Britain and perhaps the world. The Gardens feature the largest and most comprehensive living plant collection in the world.

Part of the gardens 132 hectares is over 200 years old and in addition to the plants, the gardens host art exhibitions - currently Henry Moore. The Photographer of the Year exhibition will be held at Kew this summer.
