Acerca de nuestra casa

Our home is a converted Victorian coach house on one of the area's best streets. We moved in three years ago and have refitted the kitchen and both bathrooms to a very high standard. Downstairs there is a large tiled hallway, a laundry room with toilet, a very large kitchen with lots of equipment which also has an open plan lounge area attached to it, with large flat screen TV, which has a large window looking over the garden and also a door leading into the garden. The garden is fairly big by UK standards and has a couple of paved seating areas, lawn, mature plants and lots of kids toys/bikes etc. It is also not really overlooked. It is very peaceful and we do get some nice birds and the odd squirrel. Also downstairs is a large lounge with huge flat screen TV and lots of kids toys (mainly boys, these can be put away if you don't have children). It is very comfortable and also overlooks the garden. Upstairs we have a large master bedroom with newly fitted ensuite, with double basin unit, huge bath (not yet used)and large walk in shower, which I love. There is another very large double bedroom and a child's room which has a single bed with a trundle bed that pulls out if required. The upstairs bathroom has a shower bath and has also just been fitted to a very high standard. We love our home, our street and this area. we have been in this area for the last 8 years. This is a safe area but we do have a security alarm which we put on when we are out and at night.

  1. We are a family of three, we are in our mid thirties and we have a toddler. I used to work in IT but am now a stay at home mummy, which I enjoy very much. Jonah has just turned three, but he is generally very well behaved, he goes to nursery locally twice a week. My husband works for an airline, so travels abroad frequently, he works very hard and enjoys coming home. We love travel, even our son has seen his fair share of the world so far. We love Sydney and would like to move there permanently in the not so distant future, but would like an exchange for at least four weeks between Sept - Dec, so that we can have a go at living like locals. My brother also lives with us, he is in the police force, but will stay with his girlfriend during the exchange. We are quite flexible with dates though. We do love our home and look after it but it is child friendly. We think that you would enjoy staying here. We are also interested in other exchanges but for maybe one or two weeks, maybe the USA in the summer. Try us.

We love Sunningdale. It is about 45 minutes from Central London, and is very upmarket, some of the country's most expensive homes are in this area and we have several celebrity residents. It is great for getting into London to shop/sight see.We are close to both Windsor (castle) and Ascot (racecourse). There are also several world class golf clubs close by, such as Wentworth and Sunningdale Golf Club. Windsor Great Park is also on our doorstep, it is huge and very beautiful all year round. If you have kids there are three theme parks which are easy to reach, the closest being Legoland, which Jonah loves. For shopping, we have one of the largest Marks and Spencers in the country 10 minutes drive away. London is easy to get into for the day, or you could try the new Westfield. Bicester village, a designer outlet is just over an hour away too, in Oxfordshire. There are lots of places that would make great day trips, there are also lots of country clubs and good restauants within easy reach. I have said that the area is suburban but it is also very rural, there are lots of lovely walks around here and a lovely park for the children within walking distance. People around here are very nice, including our neighbours who would be happy to help you out if necessary. the crime rate here is very low indeed and the area is very well looked after. Our street is one of the best in the area and for easy food shopping there is a lovely Waitrose within walking distance.
