Acerca de nuestra casa

Our house is comfortable and cosy without being particularly posh. It has three floors. Downstairs there is a through lounge and dining room with a wood burning stove, which opens out into the kitchen. The garden is quite small and enclosed, but with plenty of room to eat outside when the weather is good.

Más sobre nosotros

  1. We are semi-retired: James (journalist, academic and writer) and Penny (former performing arts teacher and education advisor). We have five children and six grand children between us and now have the time to enjoy travelling. We have done four home exchanges and are looking forward to staying in new places and meeting new people.

Our lovely house is very close to the centre of Worcester, to the river Severn and the Birmingham Worcester canal. We are within walking distance of the two railway stations and can access London, Bristol, Birmingham, Cheltenham and the North quite easily. We also have a tiny quarryman's cottage on the Malvern Hills which could be available. Malvern is about 8 miles away and offers great walking.
Fort Royal Park, the entrance to which is right opposite our front door is the site of the last battle of the English Civil War and the history is recorded in the park and also in the Commandery building close by.
